Our dried mixed mushrooms are a kitchen cupboard essential that's vital to have on hand when culinary inspiration strikes. They're a superb way to add flavour to a wide range of dishes, and indeed as the basis of many delicious classics such as mushroom risottos, soups and sauces. Soak them, strain them and chop them to add enormous flavor to a dish – and don't forget to save the soaking water to use as a rich broth in the dish you're cooking or for use later on.
 
There's practically no limit on the number of culinary creations you can conjure up with dried mushrooms – think lasagne, pasta sauces, sauces for meat and poultry, tarts, quiches, bruschetta toppings, pâtés, stir-fries (add cashews to really take things to another level!) and much, much more.
